When talking about Michelle, our most recent GED graduate, you have to mention her drive and resilience.
After working to overcome multiple roadblocks since leaving high school last year, Michelle was determined to reach her educational goal of obtaining her GED. When asked how she found the motivation during this unprecedented time, Michelle shared that she viewed this as an opportunity to find strength rather than just another obstacle.
During this time, I finally found the confidence to go through with it.
As for what’s next, Michelle said that she plans on enrolling in college in South Carolina where she hopes to pursue a degree in Digital Arts and Design.
When I received my GED, I felt so relieved and excited to face the next chapter in my life. I don’t feel like I’m behind anymore.
